01 / About

Building with purpose.
Growing with intention.

I'm a web developer based in Melbourne, currently completing a Diploma of Information Technology in Back End Web Development at Lumify Learn — building on a Certificate IV from Holmesglen TAFE I've already earned. More importantly, I've been shipping real work throughout my studies, not waiting until I'm "qualified" to start.

From live client sites to personal apps and tools, I approach every project with the same mindset: write clean code, design for the user, and continuously improve. I work across the full stack — comfortable with front-end interfaces and growing into databases, APIs, and server-side logic.

I use modern tooling as part of a considered workflow to explore ideas, debug efficiently, and iterate with purpose while keeping code quality and understanding front and centre.

05 / Process

How I work

A pragmatic, iterative approach focused on real outcomes, not process theatre.

01

Understand the brief

Every project starts with clarity. I take time to understand the goal, the audience, and the constraints before writing a single line of code. Good questions save hours later.

02

Design with intent

Whether working from a client brief or designing independently, I map out structure, layout, and interaction before writing production code. Low-fidelity first, detail second.

03

Build clean, fast, and secure

Once direction is clear, I move quickly with a working prototype, then refine with clean code, strong performance, and security in mind.

04

APIs, data, and integration

From connecting a CMS (like Sanity or WordPress) to consuming live REST APIs, I integrate external services and build interfaces around real, dynamic content.

05

Deploy and iterate

I deploy to Vercel or Netlify, manage domains and DNS, and treat the live environment as part of the workflow — not the finish line. Sites get reviewed, refined, and improved after launch.

06

Review, test, and improve

I treat each release as a checkpoint, not a finish line — validating assumptions, tightening edge cases, and improving what can be made clearer, faster, or more reliable.
